Joining or rejoining Sutton u3a
Welcome! Joining or rejoining Sutton u3a is straightforward. Follow the steps below to complete your application and arrange payment.
You can apply online or complete a paper application form. Our membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March, with reduced fees if you join later in the year.
1. Check your membership fee

These fees include membership of the Third Age Trust and its associated member benefits.
2. Complete your application and choose how to pay
The easiest way to join is online. Complete our online application form and choose whether to pay by bank transfer or debit/credit card. The form will show the correct membership fee for the time of year.
Prefer to use a paper form? Download the Membership Application Form, complete it and return it to the Membership Secretary. You can then pay the correct membership fee shown above by bank transfer.
Please don’t make a bank transfer without completing an application form.
A payment on its own does not give us the information we need to set up your membership.
3. What happens next?
Once we've received your application and payment, our Membership Secretary will get everything set up for you. You'll then receive confirmation and your Sutton u3a membership card by email.

Renewing your Sutton u3a membership
Renewals are due in April each year – but by the end of June at the very latest. The annual renewal fee is £22.
1. Have any of your personal details changed since you last renewed?

You don’t need to complete a renewal form. Simply send us a short renewal email to confirm that you wish to renew. Please remember to include any changes to your personal or emergency contact details.

Please complete the Membership Renewal Form so that we can update your details, including any changes to your emergency contact.
2. Pay your £22 renewal fee
Once you have sent your renewal email or completed your Renewal Form, please pay your £22 annual fee by bank transfer.

3. What happens next?
Once we’ve received your renewal request and payment, our Membership Secretary will process your renewal. You'll then receive confirmation and your Sutton u3a membership card by email.

Joining Sutton u3a as an Associate Member
If you're already a member of another u3a, you can join Sutton u3a at the reduced Associate Member rate. You'll need to tell us the name of your other u3a when you apply.
Associate Members enjoy the same Sutton u3a benefits as Standard Members, but their Third Age Trust membership is provided through their main u3a.
