We are a friendly group which meets throughout the year. The aim is to visit interesting places by exercising our Freedom Passes or car-sharing.
Today, good photographs can be taken using mobile phones, so if you have one it is not necessary to carry a separate camera although most of us do.
We meet fortnightly on alternate Tuesdays and follow (weather permitting) a programme of all-day events that is agreed in advance at our planning meetings. Each member is expected to recommend a venue and lead an outing.
We usually start from Sutton around 10 am and return around 3:30 pm.
Some trips can take longer but the main aim is to enjoy the picture-taking and the company. We also view varied exhibitions to enhance our ability through examples of others’ work.
