Elizabeth Draper is a volunteer with Surrey Search and Rescue and she will speak about the work they do. Surrey Search and Rescue is a 100% voluntary specialist search team that helps the police look for high-risk adults and children. They are on call 24/7 all year round to respond anywhere in Surrey, as well as offering mutual aid to surrounding teams. In 2024 they attended 46 call-outs, clocking up 3,500 hours of searching and spent over 5,500 hours training and fundraising.
Our AGM will be taking place on Friday 29th May 2026 at Trinity Church Hall in Sutton. The meeting will start promptly at 2.00pm. The doors will be open from 1.30pm and tea, coffee and biscuits will be available before the meeting. Please bring your membership card or number along with you as we will be asking members to sign in when they arrive.
We currently have two general member vacancies for our committee. If you are interested in joining the committee please contact Graham Vincent, our chairman, before the meeting.
The full agenda for the AGM, minutes of previous meeting and annual accounts will be e-mailed to members before the meeting and will also be available on the day. After the formal part of the meeting is finished there will be a short break when tea, coffee etc. will still be available and, after the break, we have a speaker joining us.
