During the past years, the Group has enjoyed exploring the poetry of a diverse range of poets, from Pam Ayres to the more challenging works of Nobel Prize winners, T.S. Eliot, Pablo Neruda and Derek Walcott.

Our sessions are far from stuffy or academic, we are just enthused by our discoveries. Do join us if you have often felt rather nervous about tackling poetry on your own - we just leap in. Future sessions will look at the popular collection, Poems on the Underground; the work of black American poets Langston Hughes and Maya Angelou or whoever YOU choose if you join us.
