Our aim is to gain an understanding of the background and period of an object, so we go to historic houses (e.g. the Wellington Museum and art galleries).
The Antiques Group meets on the second Thursday of the month, at 2pm (for 2.15pm) in Wallington.
On alternate months we visit an appropriate museum or gallery. On these occasions we meet at the destination about 10.30 or 11 a.m.
The trips usually end with a convivial coffee or lunch!
We are frequent visitors to the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Wallace Collection and the British Museum. We recently visited the exhibition "Gold" at Goldsmiths Hall.

- The Arts and Crafts Palace at 2 Temple Place.
