Ian Worley will give a talk on his race around the world on the 78 ft yacht Great Britain II in 1977. He joined the crew as watch leader, later promoted to 1st Mate. He tells the exciting story of racing via Cape Horn, encountering storms, icebergs, injuries, damage to the boat and a lightning strike, to ultimate victory in the 1977/78 Whitbread Round the World Race.
